Episode 68: Why do we say that we turn into angels when we die? | Forgetting Heaven’s Reality

In the wake of someone dying and going to the Lord, it’s common for us to hear phrases about  someone “Looking down on us now,” “Getting their wings,” or otherwise becoming some kind of Angel. But is that what happens? Are we just black-hearted people for questioning the sentiment?

Most importantly, how is the truth about these questions way, way, way better than simply transitioning into some sort of spiritual being?
